system and ground station software for Android and desktop with custom features for handling
specific requirements of spraying tasks. Application of both classic Computer Vision and
Machine Learning techniques in the development of advanced software features. Full
development (HW+SW) of embedded collision avoidance system with sensor fusion using custom
stereo camera and mmwv radar. Satellite and UAV multispectral imagery processing using Deep
Learning for automated agricultural reports generation.

Agile management of multidisciplinary team in a R&D project granted by ANEEL. Development of
complete solution composed by hardware (drone and sensors) and software for automated
semantic analysis of large volumes of data collected using UAVs. Application of machine learning,
computer vision, image processing and remote sensing techniques in the creation of products
aimed at the agricultural and environmental markets. Direct reporting to C-level executives and
direct interaction with customers and other stakeholders, negotiating terms and product
features and ensuring that they are aligned with the company's roadmap.

Embedded image processing software development and R&D team management, developing an
embedded system capable of real-time automatic generation of agricultural reports using UAVs.
Technical management leading the software development, HW/SW integration and conception
of the MVP. Close interaction with stakeholders, running regular meetings for backlog planning
and reports. Accomplishment of customer validation step, reaching the goal of 100 small rural
properties covered for system evaluation.
[Aug/12 to Sep/17] PHD FELLOW – MOBILE ROBOTICS LAB – ICMC/USP
CNPq PhD grant. Thesis topic: Proposal of a new 3D Feature extraction technique for obstacle
detection and data processing in 3D point clouds. The proposed method allows a simplified and
well-defined representation of segmented 3D data, being useful for pattern recognition tasks.

obstacle avoidance for self propelled sprayers.

FAPESP MSc grant. Dissertation topic: Autonomous Robots Navigation based on topological maps
using Neural Networks and Finite State Machines. Focus on vehicle’s perception system,
obtaining semantic information from sensors data (Kinect, camera, thermal camera, lidar
sensors) in both indoor and outdoor environments.
